PulpanesAn Anesthetic and Antiseptic Dough | ![]() |
PURPOSE
The PULPANES compress-dough is used as an anesthetic in the cases of caries, when no preparation (curettage) can be done immediately. It can be also used as an additional medicine after the treatment of the carious cavity and as the sedative during the pulpitis treatment. The PULPANES compress-dough has a stringy structure and contains the components of anesthetic (lidocaine hydrochloride) and antiseptic effects (complex of natural antiseptics).
MODE OF USE
The dough should be rolled until the spherical shape is obtained. This ball is used at the preparation of the carious cavity without its preliminary treatment and without other compress use.
After removing the dentine with caries, the clean cavity is washed with the poorly concentrated solution of peroxide. After that the ball of compress-dough is used and the provisional filling is put.
Note!!! The material should not be used in the case of anesthetics allergy (like lidocaine allergy). The dough should not be used for treatment with sulphamides.
